19 Weeks Pregnant Picture


19 Weeks Pregnant Update!


I had to roll my dress down for the pics and it was the 4th so I was in a bathing suit :)

How far along: I am 19 weeks and 1 day in the pictures!

Symptoms: Lower back/tailbone pain when I workout and then walk around for the day, random breakouts on my face, bloated at certain times of the day, boobs have been hurting/itching so I am sure they're on their way to another growth spurt...yikes, oh and the top of my belly button is starting to get flat...so weird!

Cravings: No cravings really, still liking citrus a lot 

Aversions: No specific aversions, some things sound good at the moment and some things don't

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: Less naps this week because I have been trying to sleep a little longer in the morning and do my workouts later in the day instead of at 5AM


Excited for: The anatomy scan next week :)

Missing: Throwing on whatever clothes I wanted and not wondering if I looked fat haha, especially bathing suits! 
 
Movement: She moves all the time, she definitely likes when I eat sugar, which has been rare...but she will move when I eat spicy too....she is basically moving all the time and doing some seriously big kicks! So cute!

Dr. update: We go back soon for the big scan!

Exercise: Still staying on top of it! 


I hope you all had an enjoyable 4th of July, stayed safe and had fun!
We spent the whole day at the beach, Zack and I woke up at 5:00 to walk down from my Dad's house to save a spot on the beach and there were already tons of people down there! We saved a great spot and hung out until 4PM. We then went back to Zack's parents house with everyone and had a BBQ and then went to watch fireworks at 9. Hopefully you all had a great firework show and spent quality time with family :)

17 Weeks Pregnant Picture

So here is the 17 weeks pregnant update!


How far along: I am 17 weeks 6 days pregnant! 18 weeks tomorrow!

Symptoms: A lot of tailbone pain when I am laying in one spot for too long or sitting for too long, it also happens on long walks. Definitely feeling bloated and light headed still...

Cravings:  I never eat fish tacos, but the past few days fish tacos sounded good...I don't think I have ever ordered fish tacos in my life. Today Zack and I had fish tacos so that was one craving that I have definitely had and then successfully taken care of, no need for any more haha.

Aversions: Really heavy foods like heavy, saucy meals sound kinda gross to me. Fresh foods have been sounding the best.

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: Every few days I will need a nap, but for the most part I am not feeling like I need to nap every single day. Definitely feeling more energetic in comparison to first trimester, but still sleepier in comparison to not being pregnant.

Excited for: Now I am just counting down the days until our anatomy scan. I will be well into week 20 as I am with all of my ultrasounds so its nice seeing just a tad more development than if I were to be going exactly at week 20 or exactly at week 16. Having my ultrasounds in the middle of the week is nice because we get that extra bit of development. I am also excited for the 4th of July, even though it is going to be an extremely sober holiday haha! But our family from Utah is flying out and staying for a few weeks so Zack and I are excited to spend time with all of them!

Missing: As always in the summer you want to be looking your best so I am missing a bikini body, but I am also excited knowing that by the end of this year we are gonna have a little nugget to call our own and I can get my body in tip top shape for next summer during the winter time!
 
Movement: We feel her moving all the time now. It is so crazy and fun to feel her moving around in there. I never feel like I am alone, I got a little gremlin messing around in there. Zack loves to feel her move and she is extremely responsive to when Zack and I have conversations or when he is talking. She is also very active when I am getting ready to eat, I think that when I am excited for food she is getting excited haha.

Dr. update: We go back in a couple weeks! Yay! I love seeing her.

Exercise: Exercising daily. Still feeling slower physically...not from an endurance stand point, but my legs actually feel like they get tired sooner, which is so weird because that used to never happen. But I am sticking with it and enjoying the long walks before my day gets going or towards the end of the day. 


This picture was taken a few hours before the picture above was taken. I woke up early to go on a morning walk with Oak and Zack and this is pre-breakfast. The bump always looks so much smaller before I eat anything and before my day really gets started. It is so funny because by the end of the day I look like I am 7 months pregnant and then I go to sleep, wake up and we start again. It is definitely growing though and I am enjoying feeling her get bigger everyday! I am glad I am able to stay healthy for her and myself. 


This was a day or so before both pictures were taken. Zack and I (+ Oak) outside enjoying juice we had just made in the juicer. Carrots, oranges, lemon, ginger, and a ton or spinach and some granny smith apples. Definitely been avoiding my weakness, which is candy, and going for more juice and smoothies instead.

12 Weeks Pregnant Picture

Okay so this week I am feeling significantly LESS bloated. My 11 week picture is just concerning...my face was bloated, my arms were bloated, my belly, everything. I felt like a walking water balloon. Yes, I do feel bloated this week, but far less than I did last week. Last week I just felt like a giant water balloon.

Of course I waited until late afternoon to take my 12 week picture, one of the things I told myself I wasn't going to do. Another thing I failed to do this week was take the picture at an earlier day. Today I am 12 weeks and 6 days pregnant, 1 day away from 13 weeks...so that just goes to show where my head is at...I forget everything.

Yes, I am bloated in this picture, but not nearly as bad as last week so here is the 12 weeks and 6 days shot for you guys! Right after a workout and some grocery shopping. I really need to get on top of these belly shots! I am looking like a mess in all of them haha.




How far along: I am 12 weeks and 6 days along in this picture! 

Symptoms: Still getting tired pretty early in the evening. I am definitely starting to go back to eating normally so that's a good sign. I have severe lightheadedness if I do not eat when my body needs me to eat. I get random bad headaches....but all in all, this was a really good week!

Cravings:  I am still loving citrus fruits. I am eating a lot of grapefruits and spicy foods I still love. I am not having that bad of cravings this week and feel like they are finally starting to subside which is nice. I can get used to this whole second trimester thing;).

Aversions: No aversions this week! I mean random things don't sound good...I still can't cook my own meat. Weirdest thing in the world I know. It doesn't even make sense to me. I am just so put off by the idea of making my own meat. I was craving steak at the beginning of the week and my mom texted Zack and I asking if we wanted Jason (her boyfriend) to BBQ chicken or steak for dinner and without hesitating or even bothering to ask Zack what he wanted I texted back, STEAK!!! So no real aversions this week, just something little everyday sounds gross...nothing in particular.

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: Less naps this week, YAY!

Excited for: We had our 12 week ultrasound at 12 weeks and 4 days and we saw our little love. I just had little tears running down my face. The ultrasound technician was nearly positive of the gender, but we won't be saying anything until our 16 week ultrasound to confirm it, but it will likely not change ;)

Missing: My old body. I am not upset by any means, but there are some mornings where I am like wow, I don't even recognize this body...and this is just the beginning haha.
 
Movement: None

Dr. update: We see him in June again so a few more weeks!

Exercise: I workout every day of the week, whether it be walking the dog, weight training, the eliptical precore machine, or HIIT workouts at home I make sure to do something every single day of the week. I think it has been helpful with keeping the baby happy and healthy. Same for me too. I always feel better after a good workout with baby, even though I can't push myself nearly as hard as I was before being pregnant it still feels good to sweat a little and release some endorphins.

There are some mornings where I struggle with the way my body looks, but that's just because I am still at the awkward in between stage of pregnancy where it just looks like you've been throwing back one too many beers. I am just so excited for my belly to round out and make a cute little bump. I am appreciating every moment I have with my little one in my belly. Zack is getting really excited this week as well. I think it is becoming more real to him, especially after the ultrasound.
