34 Weeks Pregnant Picture

34 Weeks Pregnant Update

How far along: In the pictures I am 34 weeks and 2 days pregnant!

Symptoms: Peeing; No sleep; Braxton Hicks contractions; Heartburn has actually eased up a little bit this week so far; Muscle spasms in my legs; Dizziness every now and then; Forgetting everything; Leaking boobs still; Hard to breathe, especially when getting in bed for the night; Finding a comfortable position to sleep is impossible!

Cravings: I do not know how I forget to put this one every single week, pregnancy makes me stupid and forgetful...but here we go, one craving I have been having for pretty much throughout this whole pregnancy has been COLD WATER BOTTLES. Normally I do not like cold water, I like room temperature water bottles because I can drink them faster and more of them (that's an OCD issue for another time), but I seriously am LOVING cold water. Maybe it is because it is hot out and I am pregnant and warm but whatever it is...its definitely something I crave. Weird. Ohhh, finally got that veggie platter I was craving last week haha other than that and I was really craving pumpkin pie...might've solved that craving with one slice...no cravings since those two though!

Aversions: Anything to heavy or greasy or that I know will upset my stomach, no thanks!

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: I feel like I should stop including this one and just accept the fact that sleep is a thing of the past and I think with a newborn baby it will stay in the past for quite some time. At least I am prepping for all these round the clock feedings she will be having with my bathroom breaks at night!

Excited for: The baby shower is coming up and I am getting pretty excited for that!

Missing: Cold weather, bras that don't feel like they're cutting off breathing supply, I want to be wearing cozy sweaters and boots, I am missing wine.....really badly hahaha I definitely miss wine, I miss my workouts other than walking and using the eliptical machine, I miss real clothes, being able to drink a lot of water without being bound to the house for the next hour because I will be peeing every five seconds.

Movement: Yes! And they aren't like cute little kicks anymore. Instead, she stabs me with all of her limbs. I feel like I am going to pop when she does this really big stretches in there. She will spread out and be pushing on both sides of me and all I can think is this baby is going to pop out of my skin. The movements are huge and entertaining, but getting SO MUCH STRONGER.

Dr. update: I go into the doctor tomorrow! Haven't been there in 2 weeks so I have my 2 weeks check-up again tomorrow!

Exercise: Getting back on a better schedule, still using eliptical and walking. Zack has to walk our dog with me now though because with my lack of balance and being this big...plus our polar bear of a dog, I just get nervous I am going to fall or trip.

Stretch marks: None on my body and the little ones on my boobs I got in the first/second trimester are fading so nope, no stretchies!

Swelling: Nope not really other than it being hot out, if I am on my feet all day and if I just worked out, other than that no swelling and my swelling isn't bad even when I do swell.

Maternity clothes: Nope, no maternity clothes!

Labor signs: Nope!

What I am loving: Even though her kicks and jabs are sometimes painful I am getting excited because she is so big, she is so much closer to being here and I am loving knowing I will be holding this little babe soon!

Best moment of this week: Slowly getting more things for her, it is always exciting getting clothes and picturing her little body in them. I can't wait until she is here! GETTING SO CLOSE!

31 Weeks Pregnant Picture

31 Weeks Pregnant Update

How far along: 31 weeks and 6 days pregnant in the pictures, tomorrow I will be 32 weeks. Cutting it close on this blog update this week! But I made it....barely!

Symptoms: Peeing; Braxton Hicks; Heartburn with spicy food; Leaking boobs still (yum); Boobs have been hurting this week; Leg numbness before bed a few nights a week; Breathing is hard before bed and when I am more bloated; Sleeping has been difficult still; I forget everything...I forget where I put my phone, where I put my brush, where I put my keys, I do not remember anything!

Cravings: None really

Aversions: Mehh none that I can think of right now

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: Here and there, but peeing up to 5 times a night so not much!

Excited for: I am excited for the baby shower! My mom and I went and got a bunch of crafts and we will be working on those for the next couple of weeks in preparation for the baby shower!

Missing: Sleeping, breathing, and working out normally.

Movement:  All of the time! As always! She is constantly moving and now it is easier to feel all of her limbs and hands and feet it is so crazy!

Dr. update: I go again on Monday for an ultrasound, and I have to say...I am sick of going to the doctors office....I would rather she just be here haha.

Exercise: Walking + eliptical still

Stretch marks: No new ones on my boobs, we will see when my milk comes in. The tiny ones I did get on my boobs are already fading so that is a good sign. No stretch marks anywhere else. Using a bunch of lotions and oils every single day and night, so hopefully that helps in some way!

Swelling: I think I have some feet swelling at the end of the day if I am standing all day, but nothing really noticeable! My hands swell after I work out, but that is fixed after an hour after my workout.

Maternity clothes: Still no maternity clothes, who knows! Maybe I will need to get some this month...maybe not! Trying to make it work without buying any for now.

Labor signs: Nope!

What I am loving:  I am loving getting ready for the baby shower. So exciting!!! So many crafts!

Best moment of this week: As I am sure I have said a million times already this blog post, the best moment this week has been working on crafts for the baby shower. Getting a bunch of decorations and making a bunch of decorations! Can't wait! It is so girly and fun!

Had to throw in the corny picture of Zack.

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER! NEXT MONTH IS BABY MONTH!

20 Weeks Pregnant Picture

HALFWAY THERE

How far along: I am 20 weeks in the pictures this week! Look at me staying on top of it and taking pictures earlier in the week ;)

Symptoms: Extreme lower back pain, but closer to the left side, it hurts when I walk only on my left side and it is starting to make my knee go numb. I look like I have a serious pregnancy waddle going on when I limp. I am thinking I will be going to a chiropractor within the next week if there is no relief because it's been about 2.5 weeks of pain; I am also experiencing some really pretty break outs on my face every now and then so that is always fun to wake up to...feel extra gorgeous in the morning; My boobs won't stop growing, so that's scary haha; I get bloated easily, but that's nothing really new! Other than that the symptoms haven't been too bad, everything you kinda expect to go along with being pregnant!

Cravings: Still no cravings. I am actually extremely picky with food lately...citrus always sounds good still.

Aversions: Mexican food. I used to be able to eat Mexican food every day of the week...breakfast, lunch and dinner. Now, I have overdone it on the Mexican food. NO MORE.

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: Been able to have later nights and earlier mornings without desperately needing a nap during the day so that has been nice. There are of course a few days where I feel like I am going to pass out if I do not take a nap, but they aren't as frequent as they were in the first trimester. I am just happy to be feeling like myself, a fatter version of myself haha.

Excited for: Monday we have our anatomy scan in the morning so I am excited to see our little babe. Every month is a countdown until we get to see her again so I love ultrasound days.

Missing: I am missing not having lower back pain and not having to pee every five seconds. I think I need a portable restroom with me at all times. It is ridiculous! I can't even drink half a water bottle without having to pee five times after. It's not even like I am peeing a lot...but it will feel like I haven't peed in hours! Still missing my old body but remind myself everyday that this is only temporary, I am growing a little mini "us" and we are going to be so in love that sacrificing my body for a measly 9 months is nothing in comparison to the love and joy we are going to get out of our little one. I am missing my more intense workouts...they always gave me more energy and I always felt so refreshed and good after a good sweat...soon enough!

Movement:  She uses my bladder as a trampoline. She loves to move around, especially in the morning and when I am hungry. I imagine her bouncing all around in there intentionally pushing off of my bladder. I will be sitting there thinking...oh I kinda have to pee and then all of a sudden BAM she pushes off of my bladder...and I have to run to the bathroom. She has done really big kicks where Zack is like "woah!" and it is fun to watch her move around in there when I just lay down. If I am still enough Zack and I can see her moving all around based on my belly button...it looks like a wave, I think it is because it is much thinner skin there.

Dr. update: Monday we have the big scan so I will do a separate update for that come Monday!

Exercise: Everyday! Some days I have to take it easier because my lower back pain has turned me into a gimp, but I am walking as much as possible. I tried doing a more intense workout and felt a pinch and felt her move weird on my left side and stopped immediately and took it easy for the rest of the day. Just squats, leg lifts, long walks, and trying my best to not give into any cravings when I do have them. I will a few times a week, but I try to put it off as long as possible if I have any!

Here are some new ones I thought I would add at the half way point:

Stretch marks: No stretch marks yet! Been greasing up in my homemade body butters every night, BioOil, Palmer's stretch mark lotion, and a few others. I think I will do a separate post on the oils and lotions I use in the near future!

Swelling: I think it is too early to notice any swelling. I stay fairly active and it is hot outside, but I don't swell anymore than I normally would working out at this time of year.

Maternity clothes: No maternity clothes purchased yet. I have still been avoiding purchasing them until I am absolutely desperate...or if I need to at all. I haven't been wearing jeans or anything, but that is because it is summer and I have been sticking to workout clothes, maxi skirts and dresses. The hottest months have yet to come for us in Southern California so I wonder if I will ever need to purchase maternity jeans this pregnancy. We will see!

Labor signs: No labor signs yet! Hopefully those bad boys steer clear for another 17 weeks.

What I am loving: I am loving feeling her move, I know she is technically only awake for about 6 hours a day...but I feel her moving almost all day. She is a hyper little one.

Best moment of this week: Feeling her movements a lot more intensely! Just sitting in bed and watching my belly move and seeing her little kick box moves! Definitely the best feeling is knowing that she is doing well and moving in there. It always confirms that she is safe and growing.

18 Weeks Pregnant Picture

18 Weeks Pregnant Update!

It's so funny how much more 'bloated' the belly looks when I do not take them first thing in the morning. The size of the belly also differs throughout the week...depending on what I eat or how much water I am retaining that day. I am trying to stay active so I don't bloat so much. But there is definitely a difference in the pictures above in contrast to the pictures below where I had just worked out and not really drank any water or eaten anything yet.

How far along: I am 18 weeks and 5 days in the top pictures!

Symptoms: Tailbone pain, occasional breakouts, moody when hungry, moody when tired, boobs have been hurting a lot this week and I don't think I can afford for them to get any bigger...you need like three hands to fully cup one of them, back hurts when standing or sitting for a long time...so tons of issues this week haha.

Cravings:  Not really any cravings this week...I keep wanting cake and I am so NOT a baked goods person. My weakness is candy and candy only, but cake...a really fresh cake sounds good and no I will NOT be giving into that craving haha.

Aversions: No specific aversions this week, but when Zack suggests something to eat I normally feel strongly against it or fully for it, so it kind of depends on the day.

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: I have been napping a lot this week for some reason. I tell Zack to set an alarm for 30 minutes and then he tries to wake me and I am asleep for 3 hours. I am not a heavy napper normally so I think she must be going through a major growth spurt this week or something.

Excited for: Still really excited for the anatomy scan coming up soon! Can't wait to see her!

Missing: Having more energy and less restrictions. Not being able to lift certain things that are too heavy or just feeling limited in general. I have been okay with the whole pregnant in summer this week & loving that my body is just growing our little baby.

Movement: I feel her moving all of the time and Zack feels her move all of the time too. My mom has felt her move as well. She is super active in the morning and in the afternoon...and then a bit before bed. I can see her kicks all of the time too, they are so cute and little.

Dr. update: We go back soon for the big scan!

Exercise: I still get out and exercise everyday. I have been going on a lot of early early morning walks with Oak. We get up at around 5:15 AM and go on an hour to an hour and a half walk. I am burning tons of calories, just not as quickly as I used to with my other workouts, but I am still replenishing them at breakfast and throughout the day. Just staying active and healthy so labor is hopefully easier and so it won't be such a pain to take off any baby weight later.

These pictures were taken after my workout first thing in the morning during the 18th week and you can still see muscle tone so that's a good sign! You just can't see it in the pictures above because I had drank water and eaten a little something I believe. It is also funny to see the belly at the very end of the day when I look huge....
