31 Weeks Pregnant Picture

31 Weeks Pregnant Update

How far along: 31 weeks and 6 days pregnant in the pictures, tomorrow I will be 32 weeks. Cutting it close on this blog update this week! But I made it....barely!

Symptoms: Peeing; Braxton Hicks; Heartburn with spicy food; Leaking boobs still (yum); Boobs have been hurting this week; Leg numbness before bed a few nights a week; Breathing is hard before bed and when I am more bloated; Sleeping has been difficult still; I forget everything...I forget where I put my phone, where I put my brush, where I put my keys, I do not remember anything!

Cravings: None really

Aversions: Mehh none that I can think of right now

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: Here and there, but peeing up to 5 times a night so not much!

Excited for: I am excited for the baby shower! My mom and I went and got a bunch of crafts and we will be working on those for the next couple of weeks in preparation for the baby shower!

Missing: Sleeping, breathing, and working out normally.

Movement:  All of the time! As always! She is constantly moving and now it is easier to feel all of her limbs and hands and feet it is so crazy!

Dr. update: I go again on Monday for an ultrasound, and I have to say...I am sick of going to the doctors office....I would rather she just be here haha.

Exercise: Walking + eliptical still

Stretch marks: No new ones on my boobs, we will see when my milk comes in. The tiny ones I did get on my boobs are already fading so that is a good sign. No stretch marks anywhere else. Using a bunch of lotions and oils every single day and night, so hopefully that helps in some way!

Swelling: I think I have some feet swelling at the end of the day if I am standing all day, but nothing really noticeable! My hands swell after I work out, but that is fixed after an hour after my workout.

Maternity clothes: Still no maternity clothes, who knows! Maybe I will need to get some this month...maybe not! Trying to make it work without buying any for now.

Labor signs: Nope!

What I am loving:  I am loving getting ready for the baby shower. So exciting!!! So many crafts!

Best moment of this week: As I am sure I have said a million times already this blog post, the best moment this week has been working on crafts for the baby shower. Getting a bunch of decorations and making a bunch of decorations! Can't wait! It is so girly and fun!

Had to throw in the corny picture of Zack.

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF OCTOBER! NEXT MONTH IS BABY MONTH!

Beautiful Fall Day & A Beautifully Colored Snack

This morning on my way to class at around 7:30 a.m. I thought I would take a picture of the beautiful sky. It always looks so crisp and cold outside after it rains. I just love the smell of wet asphalt! I cannot wait for more rain this season...we keep getting a taste of it here in San Diego, but is asking for a full week of rain too much? I don't think so! Common' weather!

If you look, you can see the little rainbow sneaking its way through the clouds :)

MMMMMmmmmm... Now for the yummy snack...IT'S POMEGRANATE SEASON! WOOOO!!!
This is a healthy snack especially for when you are craving sweets. Honestly, I have been craving jelly belly's for the past three days now (and no I did not satisfy those cravings, dangit!) BUT I did just eat a delicious pomegranate and I am definitely not craving jelly beans anymore.

Seriously, one of my favorite snacks I get so excited this time of year when they are in season. Pomegranates and Pink Lady Apples, sooooo good!

A trick to getting them all out quickly, this probably took me 3 minutes at most....
Cut the pomegranate in half. Take a wooden spoon and hit one half of the Pomegranate on the outer peel. Make sure a bowl is beneath because most of the seeds will come out this way. For the ones that do not come out, you have loosened them from the peel and they now come out SO EASILY when you start peeling back the pieces, they just fall right into the bowl.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FALL/WINTER SNACK?

The pomegranate picture is posted on my instagram (@SydneySedillo), follow me if you guys wanna see more pictures that I do not include on the blog. I would also love to follow you guys back!

Decorating for Halloween

I am fully aware it is over a month until Halloween, but I couldn't help myself. Last year I decorated for Christmas not even the day after Thanksgiving...

If every store is just going to tease me and put Halloween decorations out I have no choice, I have to put mine up!

So I have already decorated with the decorations from last year (minus a bag of spider webs) and I plan on making a few trips to pick up just a few little extras; too many decorations never hurt anyone!

I will be posting the pictures of what I have already set out around the house in a few hours :)

Until then, check out my instagram for a sneak peak at the decorations I have already posted two pictures so far!

For the time being until I post the rest of my pictures, here is my instagram picture from Sunday  (posted also in my recent Sunday blog post) to get everyone in the mood for decorating...
Nothing like some fall vegetables ;)

Leave a comment below or even comment on my instagram if you have decorated also, I would love to see your decorations and swap some fun ideas!

I hope everyone's day is going well and they are getting as excited for Halloween as I am!

10 Of My Favorite Fall Things

I love this time of the year, I love summer, of course, but the time of year I love most and feel my happiest is when it is fall and of course the transition into the holidays...but for the sake of this post and keeping my holiday crazed thoughts at bay I thought I would mention a few of my favorite fall things!

1. Pumpkin everything. I really love pumpkin pie all year round so I make a really yummy gluten free one with a rice flour crust that tastes amazing. Zack and I just pick at it for dessert throughout the week whenever I make it. Not the healthiest habit, but it is only like twice a year that I will do that.

2. Chai tea, green tea, black tea, white tea, sleepy time tea, tea, tea, tea. I love getting tea more than I do coffee. I will make coffee in the morning every so often with some hazelnut creamer, but a hot cup of tea really makes me feel like it is fall.

3. Candles, everywhere. I always have candles in the house, but they are typically sweet candy scented ones. In my view right now I have a lemon meringue, red velvet cupcake, and sweet spun sugar. So for fall I really love the vanilla and spiced scents like pumpkin pie, apple cider, those really warm scents are my favorite.

4. Throw blankets. I have three on one couch, and I am still in need of more...apparently.

5. Decorations. I usually decorate a month in advance, for any holiday. For Christmas last year I decorated the day after Thanksgiving. CRAZY at its finest. For Halloween I have every intention of decorating possibly next week....yes, hopefully next week.

6. Pumpkin Patches. I love going to them, but who doesn't?

7. Fireplaces. I really wish it would get cold and start raining soon because my fireplace is just sitting there taunting me.

8. Holiday preparation always makes the year fly by. It is kind of bitter sweet, but when this time of year comes around I always feel like it's one good thing after the other and it just seems like time flies by, but in a good way; it is constant excitement for the next few months. Family time and holidays really make me happy:).

9. Jammies and sweatshirts. Coming home and throwing on some cozy socks, a big sweatshirt and some plaid pajama pants and sitting on the couch with a nice cup of tea with the fireplace going, hearing the rain hit the window outside, oh yes, this is my favorite time of year. Oh wait, the smell of wet asphalt. THE BEST SMELL.

10. Getting cozy...with the husband and our puppy, Oak.

What are your ten favorite fall things? Let me know! I love to read what your favorite things are too:)

 Happy Monday Evening,

 Sydney
