36 Weeks Pregnant Picture

36 Weeks Pregnant Update

How far along: I am 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant in the pictures!

Symptoms: Heartburn; Peeing; A lot of pressure down low!!! I mean A LOT, to the point where she pushes so hard down there that I have to stop walking; I have a lot of energy to begin nesting and I have had this weird compelling energy to organize and nest for about 2 weeks now; Boobs hurt on and off; Boobs leaking; Possibly losing mucous plug slowly since last week or so I believe; I feel like she has dropped quite a bit, because I am peeing constantly again; Sleeping a little bit better at night but still getting up pretty early in the morning with insomnia! BRAXTON HICKS; PAIN IN BACK AND LEGS!

Cravings: Nope

Aversions: No not really!

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: I have been sleeping a little better, so it seems. It could be that she has possibly dropped lower and that gives me a bit more breathing room!

Excited for: Meeting her! & we move into our new place tomorrow! YAY!

Missing: Cold weather. We had a few teaser days this weekend where it was "freezing" and I just loved being bundled up and cozy! I am missing wearing all of my clothes that fit. I feel like I am confined to one wardrobe and I really do not have any intention of buying any maternity clothes this late in the game so it would be nice to get back into some of my old clothes!

Movement: Oh yeah, she is definitely practicing torpedo-ing outta there too. Random sharp jolts of her head stabbing my cervix has been quite pleasant this week...

Dr. update: Continuing to do non-stress tests and everything is going fine. She is healthy and I am healthy. Placenta is normal for this stage of pregnancy and everything is working well. I am just sticking to "laying low" instead of working out like my doctor asked. He is not worried about her size so much that he just wants to be cautious and make sure she is as fat as she can be before she is born! Babies lose some weight after being born so he wants to make sure there is some room for her to do so!

Exercise: Nope. Other than running errands I have been asked to stop exercising so she can gain weight.

Stretch marks: Nope

Swelling: Nope nothing noticeable in hands or feet, I am sure there is some swelling, but nothing to complain about!

Maternity clothes: Nope and I am thinking I am gonna be opting out of them, I do not see myself getting any seeing that she can be born at anytime now.

Labor signs: Tons of Braxton Hicks, I was actually having them fairly close together and so I had a glass of wine and took an epsom salt bath to try and relax so that I wouldn't trigger any more contractions. They were extremely strong and painful and some of them made me want to cry! I think that there is a chance maybe my body is just practicing for the real deal right now with all of this early labor shenanigans!

What I am loving: I am loving getting ready to get into our new place. We will be able to organize all of her stuff from the shower, get her crib set up and I can actually get a good nights sleep and I am just excited for all of this change! It is happening so quickly. Hopefully it makes time fly so I feel like she will be here sooner!

Best moment of this week: Definitely getting stuff for our new place, it has been a long haul and a summer of house hopping between parents houses and it will be nice to start nesting and getting prepared. I am slowly feeling more and more prepared. Zack, my mom and I just went to a hospital tour tonight and bailed early after we filled out the paper work for the hospital so I won't have to do it when I am in labor. Just getting little things like that accomplished make my week and make me feel like we are one step closer to being prepared to welcome home our sweet girl!

33 Weeks Pregnant Picture

33 Weeks Pregnant Update

How far along: 33 weeks and 2 days pregnant in the pictures!

Symptoms: Peeing; No sleep; Braxton Hicks contractions; Heartburn (mostly before bed, which is twisted considering I can barely sleep as it is); Muscle spasms in my legs; Dizziness every now and then; Still forget everything

Cravings: None really, except right before bed the other night Zack and I were falling asleep and I told him I really wanted a veggie platter. Super weird. I did not get one hahah, but it was something I had big plans for and then I woke up and I wasn't really craving it anymore.

Aversions: Anything too greasy, burgers have kinda sounded gross this whole pregnancy.

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: None, I have been way more tired during the day though, that started around week 30... I still do not take naps during the day or I will once in a while, but it is not a daily routine. We are going and going all day I don't really have time to take a nap.

Excited for: Having this baby! And the baby shower that is coming up. There is still a lot to be done for it so little stuff here and there is getting done, but I am so excited!

Missing: Cold weather, my entire closet of clothes I can't wear, bras that aren't sports bras...sport bras do not go with everything, but that is all that is comfortable right now so that usually results in a sweat pants kind of day...

Movement: I have a feeling she is going to be super aggressive and rowdy. She likes to sneak attack me. She will be completely stealth mode in my tummy and then BAM she starts practicing karate. She is moving all of the time and when she isn't moving...she is just hiding out and gearing up for the surprise attack that can last a lifetime. But I love every minute of it and it is really entertaining and makes Zack and I laugh. I know that she will be doing the same when she is out here hanging out with us :)

Dr. update: When I went to the doctor last Monday she was looking great! She weighed 4.4lbs. I don't know how she went from being "underweight" to a complete chunker, but she did. She is supposed to gain around a half a pound a week at this point so that is crazy. She went from the size of a little grain of rice to this....it really is crazy to think about and look back at all of her ultrasound pictures and compare them. Now back to the doctor update. She has lip injections, I am sure of it the ultrasound tech was even laughing saying "look at her mouth and lips they are huge!" From the ultrasound she has the same shaped mouth as me so it will be interesting to see if she has my mouth when she is out! I just wanna see her so badly!

Exercise: Have not been doing much eliptical and haven't been doing as long of walks just because Braxton Hicks has been uncomfortable and they happen every time I workout and we have been super busy these past few weeks. Poor puppy got neutered about 3 weeks ago and he has been recovering so I can't take him on very long walks, but he is better now so his workouts and my workouts will be picking up again!

Stretch marks: Same as last week (none) except for the little ones on my boobs, but those were kind of expected and most of them are already fading since I got them pretty early on in the pregnancy during their initial growth spurt haha.

Swelling: Not unless I have been on my feet all day and even at that point you can still see veins and tendons so nothing dramatic or really noticeable. I think I might be the only one that can notice it really. If I am not on my feet all day or not working out then I don't really have any swelling in my hands or feet as of yet. I know that in the last few weeks it happens so I am not thinking I am in the safe zone yet!

Maternity clothes: Still haven't bought/worn any maternity clothes this pregnancy and at this point I do not think I will be purchasing any unless it starts getting really cold out of nowhere and I need some maternity leggings...as for now still trying to make due with what I have.

Labor signs: Nope!
What I am loving: Getting so close to the end. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. I am happy we are getting so close. I am also loving all of her kicks and movements and reminders that she will be here soon! YAY!

Best moment of this week: When I am feeling really down about myself or when I think I look ugly and have those typical "I'm ugly and pregnant" thoughts Zack always makes me feel better. He has been so sweet this whole pregnancy and really encouraging when I start feeling low about all of the changes that keep happening with my body. He is always there to tell me differently and that really helped when I was trying to find a dress for the baby shower this week. I was really upset, felt huge and ugly and he was there to pick me back up again and it was really nice having him be so involved in this pregnancy and so supportive this whole time.

27 Weeks Pregnant Picture

27 Weeks Pregnant Update

How far along: I am 27 weeks and 5 days pregnant in the pictures...28 weeks tomorrow! Yay!

Symptoms:Peeing often; I am now experiencing a lot of leg numbness in both legs; I cannot sleep well still; Boobs leaking still; Heartburn every now and then after something spicy; Braxton Hicks; I think I am feeling her hiccup now too!!!!

Cravings: No cravings really...

Aversions: Anything too heavy or greasy

Wedding rings: On

Sleep: Oh that? Doesn't exist. I do not sleep...I want to sleep, but that isn't happening

Excited for: Meeting her, as always.

Missing: I think I am missing my old body again...sometimes the adjustment is hard to deal with, but I also know I am being healthy and active and growing our little one. Usually any self conscious thoughts about my new body subside after a few moments and I realize this is all temporary and it will all be worth it! I am also missing sleep. I really miss sleeping comfortably and being able to cuddle zack without having to move around every five seconds.

Movement:  BIG TIME! She moves 24/7 and she is rowdy!!!

Dr. update: Glucose test coming up on Monday

Exercise: Still at it! Definitely getting much harder, I can feel myself getting slower, but just because I feel slow now and can't see the results of working out throughout my pregnancy I know that I will after I have her and during labor when I have endurance!

Stretch marks: Nope.

Swelling: After working out, if hands are down by my sides, that is about the only time though. Same as last week.

Maternity clothes: Still no maternity clothes!

Labor signs: Nope!

What I am loving:  I am enjoying her craziness, I feel like she has a little personality already. I think she may end up being a complete crazy girl and I am excited to see if she is just as rambunctious when she is here with us!

Best moment of this week:  Just getting excited with Zack when she moves around, he can feel limbs distinctly now so it is fun to share her with him even though I am the one growing her. It is just a fun time in pregnancy being able to share it with Zack and both get to experience her little (huge) movements!
